About Eve
Eve was the first woman. God made her to be Adam's partner, and they lived together in the Garden of Eden, looking after God's creation.
Eve's name means "living", because she became the mother of all people.
Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating the fruit He had told them not to eat. But even when they had to leave the garden, God still loved them and made clothes to keep them warm.
