About King Saul
Saul was the first king of Israel. He was tall and handsome, and at first he was a good king.
But Saul stopped listening to God, so God chose David to be the next king. Saul was often troubled, and young David came to play the harp to calm him.
Later Saul became jealous of David, but David always refused to harm him, because Saul had been chosen by God.
