The story behind this colouring sheet
"This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!"
This happy verse comes from Psalm 118, a song of praise. It reminds us that every single day is a gift from God.
Christians often say this verse on Easter Sunday, the most joyful day of the year, when we celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead.
But it's true every morning too! When you wake up, you can say, "Thank you, God, for today!"
Talk about it
- What is coming up over the hills?
- Who made each new day?
- What could you thank God for when you wake up tomorrow?
