The story behind this colouring sheet
After supper, Jesus went with His disciples to a garden called Gethsemane, full of olive trees. It was night.
Jesus knew that soon He would suffer and die. He felt very sad. He asked Peter, James and John to stay awake and pray with Him.
Then Jesus went a little further and knelt down to pray: "Father, if it's possible, take this suffering away from me. But not what I want — what you want."
When He came back, His friends had fallen asleep! Jesus chose to trust His Father, even though it was very hard.
