“The Lord turned and looked at Peter.”
The story behind this colouring sheet
When Jesus was arrested, Peter followed at a distance into the high priest's courtyard. He sat by a fire to keep warm.
A servant girl looked at him. "You were with Jesus!" Peter was scared. "I don't know Him!" he said. It happened three times.
Just then, a rooster crowed. Jesus had told Peter, "Before the rooster crows, you will say three times that you don't know me." Jesus turned and looked at Peter, and Peter went out and cried.
But that's not the end of Peter's story. After Easter, Jesus forgave him and gave him a new start.
