The story behind this colouring sheet
On the night before He died, Jesus had supper with His friends. In those days people walked everywhere in sandals, and their feet got very dusty. Usually a servant would wash guests' feet.
But there was no servant. So Jesus got up, tied a towel around His waist, poured water into a bowl and began to wash His disciples' feet!
Peter was shocked. "You'll never wash my feet!" But Jesus explained that this was a lesson.
"I have given you an example," Jesus said. "You should serve each other, just as I have served you."
