About the story
Good Friday is the day Christians remember that Jesus died on a cross. It is the saddest part of the Easter story, but it is also full of God's love.
Jesus had done nothing wrong, but He chose to die so that the wrong things we have done could be forgiven. Afterwards, a kind man called Joseph of Arimathea laid Jesus' body in a new tomb in a garden, and a big stone was rolled across the door.
These pages tell this part of the story gently, with empty crosses, ready for the joy of Easter Sunday.
