About the story

Jairus was a leader at the synagogue. His young daughter was very sick, so he went to find Jesus and asked him to come and help her. Jesus went with Jairus.

On the way, a messenger came with sad news. Jesus told Jairus not to be afraid, but to believe. At the house, Jesus took the girl by the hand and told her to get up. She stood and walked around.

Her parents were amazed. Jesus asked them to give her something to eat. Jairus and his family saw Jesus help their daughter.
