Jairus was a leader at the synagogue. His young daughter was very sick, so Jairus went to find Jesus. He fell at Jesus' feet and asked him to come and help her.
Jesus went with Jairus. As they walked, a message came that the girl had died. Jesus told Jairus not to be afraid, but to believe. He continued to the house with Jairus.
Jairus trusted Jesus and brought him to his family. Jesus was kind to Jairus in a frightening and sad moment.
