Read the story together
A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
Jesus came to Jairus house with a few of his disciples. Inside, Jairus daughter was lying in bed. Jesus took her by the hand and told her to get up.
The girl stood up and walked around. Her parents were amazed and happy. Jesus asked them to give her something to eat.
Jesus cared for the girl and her family. The Bible tells this as one of the wonderful things Jesus did. The people in the house saw that Jesus had helped her.
Questions to ask
- What is the girl doing?
- Who is standing beside the girl?
- What did Jesus tell Jairus daughter to do?
