About Esau
Esau was the first of Isaac and Rebekah's twin boys. He grew up loving the open country and became a skilful hunter. Their father Isaac loved Esau, while Rebekah loved Jacob. The brothers had difficult years apart after Jacob left home. When Jacob returned, Esau ran to meet him, embraced him, and wept with him. Esau welcomed his brother and spoke peacefully with him. Esau was also the father of a large family, and his descendants lived in the land of Seir.
