About Goliath
Goliath came from the Philistine city of Gath. He was a giant, about three metres tall, and wore heavy bronze armour.
For forty days he shouted at the army of Israel, challenging someone to fight him. Everyone was afraid — until a shepherd boy called David arrived.
Goliath laughed at David, but David trusted in God. The story of David and Goliath reminds us that no problem is too big for God.
