The story behind this colouring sheet
Goliath laughed when he saw David. "Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?"
But David wasn't afraid. "You come against me with a sword and spear," he said, "but I come in the name of the Lord. The battle is the Lord's!"
David ran towards Goliath, put a stone in his sling and swung it. The stone flew through the air and struck Goliath on the forehead. The giant fell to the ground!
The whole army saw that it wasn't swords or spears that won the battle — it was God. Little David trusted a big God.
Talk about it
