A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
God chose three hundred men to go with Gideon. At night, they carried trumpets, empty jars, and torches to the Midianite camp. When Gideon gave the signal, the men blew their trumpets, broke the jars, and held up their lights. The Midianites ran away.
