The story behind this colouring sheet
When the angel Gabriel told Mary she would have a baby who would be the Son of God, Mary wondered how it could possibly happen.
Gabriel told her that her elderly cousin Elizabeth, who everyone thought could never have children, was going to have a baby too. Then he said: "Nothing is impossible with God."
The God who made the sun, moon and stars can do anything! What seems impossible to us is never impossible for Him.
Mary believed God's word, and the most amazing thing in history happened: God's Son was born as a baby in Bethlehem.
Talk about it
- Can you count some of the stars in the picture?
- What did the angel say is impossible for God?
- Is there something that feels impossible to you that you could pray about?
