Read the story together
A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
Abraham sent a servant to find a wife for Isaac. The servant travelled with camels and stopped at a well. He asked God to help him meet the right person.
Rebekah came to draw water. She gave the servant a drink and offered water to his camels too. The servant learned that she was part of Abraham’s family and thanked God for guiding him.
Rebekah agreed to travel with the servant to meet Isaac. Her kindness at the well became an important part of her story.
Questions to ask
- What is beside Rebekah?
- Who does Rebekah give water to?
- How did Rebekah show kindness to the traveler?
