About the book of Genesis
Genesis means "beginning". It is the very first book of the Bible and tells how God made the world and everything in it, and how He made a promise to Abraham's family that runs through the rest of the Bible.
Children usually know Genesis best for Noah's ark, the rainbow, Abraham counting the stars, and Joseph's coat of many colours.
