The story behind this colouring sheet
On the sixth day, God made all the animals that live on the land.
He made big animals like elephants and giraffes, and tiny ones like ants and ladybirds. He made fast cheetahs and slow tortoises, furry bears and spiky hedgehogs, cows and sheep, lions and lambs.
Every animal was different and special. Some roar, some squeak, some hop and some crawl!
God looked at all the animals He had made, and He saw that it was good.
Talk about it
- What noise does a lion make? Can you roar?
- Can you name three animals God made on day six?
- God made every animal different. How are you different and special too?
