The story behind this colouring sheet
When the ark was ready, God told Noah to bring two of every kind of animal inside — a male and a female.
And so they came! Elephants and mice, lions and lambs, giraffes and tortoises, birds flapping and insects buzzing. Two by two, they walked, hopped, crawled and flew into the ark.
Noah also took food for everyone, because they would be inside the ark for a long time.
Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives went inside too. Then God Himself shut the door. Everyone inside was safe.
Talk about it
- How many of each animal went into the ark?
- Who shut the door of the ark?
- God kept Noah's family safe inside the ark. How does God keep you safe?
