The story behind this colouring sheet
A long time ago, the world was full of people who did wicked things. But one man, Noah, loved God and did what was right.
God told Noah, "Build a huge boat — an ark. I am going to send a flood. You, your family and the animals will be safe inside." God told Noah exactly how big to make it: as long as one and a half football pitches!
There was no rain in sight, and people probably laughed at him. But Noah trusted God. He worked hard, year after year, sawing and hammering, until the ark was finished.
Noah did everything just as God commanded him.
Talk about it
- What tool is Noah using?
- Why did God ask Noah to build an ark?
- Noah obeyed God even when people may have laughed. Is it sometimes hard to do the right thing?
