The story behind this colouring sheet
In six days, God made the whole world — the light, the sky, the land and seas, plants, sun, moon and stars, fish and birds, animals and people.
On the seventh day, God's work was finished. So God rested. He wasn't tired — God never gets tired! He rested to enjoy everything He had made, and to show us a good pattern for life.
God blessed the seventh day and made it special. That's why we have a day each week to rest, worship God and spend time with family.
God saw everything He had made, and it was very good.
