About the story

After Easter Sunday, Jesus appeared to His friends many times over forty days.

He walked with two friends on the road to Emmaus, appeared in a locked room saying "Peace be with you", ate fish to show He wasn't a ghost, and showed Thomas His hands. By Lake Galilee, He helped the disciples catch 153 fish and cooked them breakfast on the beach. He forgave Peter, and sent His followers to tell the whole world.

Finally, on the Mount of Olives, Jesus was taken up to heaven, promising to come back one day.
