The story behind this colouring sheet
Giraffes are the tallest animals in the world. Their necks are so long that they can eat leaves from the tops of trees!
When God sent the animals to Noah, two giraffes came too. They must have been the easiest animals to spot as they walked towards the ark.
We can imagine Noah wondering where to put them. Maybe they needed a very tall room — or a hole in the roof to poke their heads out!
God made the giraffes, with their beautiful patterned coats, and He took care of them.
Talk about it
- What is special about a giraffe's neck?
- How many giraffes went into the ark?
- If you were Noah, where would you make room for the giraffes?
