Read the story together
A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
After Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they heard him in the garden and hid among the trees. They were afraid and did not come out right away. God called to Adam and asked, ?Where are you??
Adam answered that he was hiding because he was afraid. God already knew what had happened, but he gave Adam a chance to speak. Adam and Eve had made a wrong choice, and there were consequences.
This part of the story reminds us that we can talk to God even when we have done something wrong. We can tell the truth, ask for help and listen when someone gives us a chance to make things right.
Questions to ask
- Where are Adam and Eve hiding?
- What did God ask Adam?
- Why is it helpful to tell the truth after making a mistake?
