The story behind this colouring sheet
When the flood was over, Noah, his family and all the animals came out of the ark onto dry land. The very first thing Noah did was say thank you to God.
Then God made a wonderful promise. He said He would never again send a flood to cover the whole earth. To help everyone remember, God put a rainbow in the clouds.
Every time we see a rainbow, we can remember that God keeps His promises.
Talk about it
- What was the very first thing Noah did when he came out of the ark?
- What promise did God make, and what sign did He give?
- Can you think of a promise you have made? How can you keep it?
