Read the story together
A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
After Saul began telling people about Jesus, some people in Damascus became angry. Saul’s friends learned that he was not safe inside the city.
At night, they put Saul in a large basket and carefully lowered him through an opening in the city wall. Saul made it out safely.
His friends helped him leave so he could continue telling people about Jesus. Saul’s life had changed, and he went on to share the good news in many places.
Questions to ask
- What is Saul sitting in?
- Who is helping Saul leave the city?
- Why did Saul’s friends lower him through the wall at night?
