About Hannah
Hannah prayed to God for a child. Eli the priest blessed her, and God heard her prayer. Hannah had a son and named him Samuel. She was thankful for him.
Hannah cared for Samuel as he grew. When he was old enough, she brought him to the temple to serve God with Eli. Each year she visited and brought him a little coat she had made.
Hannah loved Samuel and kept her promise to God. Her story is told in the first book of Samuel.
