Mary of Bethany coloring pages

Mary lived in Bethany with her sister Martha and brother Lazarus. When Jesus visited their home, Mary sat at his feet and listened to him teach.

When Lazarus died, Mary went to meet Jesus. She wept, and Jesus wept with her and the people who had come to comfort the sisters. Jesus then called Lazarus out of the tomb.

Later, at a meal in Bethany, Mary poured costly perfume on Jesus' feet and wiped them with her hair. Jesus defended her when someone criticised what she had done. Mary's story appears in the Gospels of Luke and John.
