The story behind this colouring sheet
On the night Jesus was born, the sky over Bethlehem filled with angels praising God. The Bible calls them a "heavenly army" — so many that no one could count them!
The Bible says they were praising God and saying "Glory to God in the highest!" Ever since, people have pictured angels singing and playing music at Christmas.
In Bible times, trumpets were played to announce something important, like the arrival of a king.
And this was the most important announcement ever: the King of kings had been born!
