The story behind this colouring sheet
There was also a very old woman at the temple called Anna. She was a prophet, someone who spoke God's messages.
Anna was 84 years old. She was at the temple every day and every night, praying and worshipping God.
Just as Simeon was holding baby Jesus, Anna came up to them. She knew at once who this baby was! She began giving thanks to God.
Then she told everyone who was waiting for God to rescue His people all about Jesus. Anna couldn't keep the good news to herself!
Talk about it
- Is Anna young or old?
- What did Anna do when she saw baby Jesus?
- Anna told everyone about Jesus. Who could you tell about Jesus this Christmas?
