About the story
Mary and Joseph travelled to Bethlehem, but there was no room for them in the guest room. When baby Jesus was born, Mary wrapped Him up warmly and laid Him in a manger, where the animals ate their hay.
Out on the hillside, angels told some shepherds the good news: a Saviour had been born! The shepherds hurried to Bethlehem and found the baby, just as the angels had said.
