The story behind this colouring sheet
Far away in the east, wise men had seen a special star rise in the sky. They believed it meant that a great king had been born.
They set out on a long journey to find Him. When they reached Jerusalem, they learned that the king was to be born in Bethlehem.
As they set off again, the star went ahead of them and stopped right over the place where the child was. When the wise men saw it, they were overjoyed!
God used a star in the sky to lead people to Jesus. Today, many families put a star on top of their Christmas tree to remember it.
Talk about it
- Where did the star stop?
- How did the wise men feel when they saw the star?
- God used a star to lead the wise men to Jesus. Who has helped lead you to Jesus?
