After a busy day, Jesus got up very early, while it was still dark. He left the house and went to a quiet place where he could pray.
Jesus spent time speaking with God before the day's work began. Soon Simon Peter and the others went looking for him. When they found him, they told him that everyone was asking for him.
Jesus said they should go to nearby towns so he could teach there too. He travelled around Galilee, teaching in meeting places and helping people. The quiet time in the morning came before another full day with the crowds.
