About the story

The teacher in Ecclesiastes looked carefully at life and saw that it has many different seasons. There is a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to gather what has grown. Some days are for crying, while other days bring laughter.

There is a time to build something up and a time to take it down. Friends may come and go, and people may search for what has been lost. These changes can be hard to understand, but God sees the whole story.

The teacher says that God makes things beautiful in their time. We can be thankful for good days, ask for help during hard days, and trust God as each season comes.
