About the story
God sent Moses and his brother Aaron back to Egypt to tell Pharaoh, "Let my people go!" But Pharaoh refused. He didn't believe in God and wanted the Israelites to keep working as slaves.
So God sent plagues on Egypt to show His power, including frogs everywhere, even in Pharaoh's palace! Each time, Pharaoh promised to let the people go, then changed his mind.
Before the final plague, God told each Israelite family to eat a special meal called the Passover, ready to leave in a hurry. That night, God set His people free.
