About Moses
Moses was born when the Israelites were slaves in Egypt. To keep him safe, his mother hid him in a basket on the River Nile, where Pharaoh's daughter found him.
When Moses grew up, God spoke to him from a burning bush and sent him to rescue God's people. With God's power, Moses led them out of Egypt and through the Red Sea.
On Mount Sinai, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. Moses led the people through the desert for forty years.
