Read the story together
A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
Pharaoh still wouldn't let God's people go. So God sent a series of plagues (disasters) on Egypt to show His power.
One of them was frogs! Aaron stretched out his staff over the rivers, and frogs came hopping out everywhere.
There were frogs in houses, frogs in beds, frogs in ovens and frogs in mixing bowls! There were even frogs in Pharaoh's palace.
Pharaoh begged Moses to take the frogs away, and promised to let the people go. But as soon as the frogs were gone, he changed his mind again.
Questions to ask
- Can you hop like a frog and say "ribbit"?
- Where did the frogs go?
- Pharaoh broke his promise. Why is it important to keep our promises?
