Read the story together
A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
Moses was scared. "What if the people don't believe me?" he asked. So God gave him signs. When Moses threw his staff on the ground, it turned into a snake! When he picked it up, it became a staff again.
But Moses still didn't want to go. "I'm not good at speaking," he said.
God replied, "Who made your mouth? I will help you speak and teach you what to say."
God also sent Moses' brother Aaron to help him. Together they set off for Egypt.
Questions to ask
- What did Moses' staff turn into?
- Who did God send to help Moses?
- Moses felt he wasn't good enough. How does God help us when we feel like that?
