About the story

Moses grew up in Pharaoh's palace, but later he became a shepherd in the land of Midian, looking after his father-in-law's sheep.

One day, near a mountain, Moses saw a bush on fire that wasn't burning up. God spoke to him from the bush: "Take off your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground." God said He had heard His people crying in Egypt, and He was sending Moses to rescue them.

Moses felt he wasn't good enough, but God promised to be with him and sent his brother Aaron to help.
