About the story
King Nebuchadnezzar made a tall statue and commanded the people to bow down to it. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego worshipped God, so they stayed standing. The king was angry and ordered them into a fiery furnace.
The king looked into the furnace and saw four men walking around unharmed. He called the three friends to come out. They were safe, and their clothes were not burned.
The king praised God for rescuing them. The three friends trusted God and stayed faithful to him, even when the king asked them to do something else.
