About Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were three friends from Judah who lived in Babylon. The king gave them new names and important jobs.
When the king made a golden statue, the friends would not bow down to it. They worshipped God and trusted that he was with them. The king ordered them into a furnace, but they came out safely.
The friends stayed faithful to God, even when it was difficult. Their story is told in the book of Daniel.
