“Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace. He spoke and said, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the middle of the fire.”
Read the story together

The king called Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to come out of the furnace. They walked out safely. The officials gathered around and saw that the fire had not harmed them.
Their clothes were not burned, and they did not smell of smoke. The king praised God, who had rescued the three friends because they trusted him.
The king gave the friends important work in Babylon. They had stayed faithful to God, and everyone could see that they were safe after the furnace.

- How did the king respond after the friends came out safely?
