The story behind this colouring sheet
Do you like giving and getting presents at Christmas? Giving gifts is a way of showing love.
The Bible tells us about the greatest gift ever given. John 3:16 says: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
God loves the whole world so much that He gave us Jesus. He didn't give Jesus because we deserved Him, but because He loves us.
This gift is for everyone who believes in Jesus, and it lasts forever. That is the real reason for all the presents at Christmas!
Talk about it
- What is inside the present in the picture?
- Why did God give us Jesus?
- What could you give someone this Christmas to show them God's love?
