Read the story together
A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
Jesus returned to Nazareth with Mary and Joseph. He obeyed them and lived with his family. As he grew, Jesus became taller and wiser.
The Bible says that Jesus grew in favour with God and people. He learned and lived as a child in his home town. His family cared for him as he grew.
Children grow and learn too. Jesus knows what it is like to be a child, to have a family, and to grow over time.
Questions to ask
- Who is walking with Jesus?
- Where did Jesus live with his family?
- What does the Bible say about how Jesus grew?
