A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
After feeding the crowd, Jesus sent his disciples ahead in a boat while he went up a mountain to pray. By night, the boat was far from shore, and the wind was pushing against it.
Jesus came toward them, walking on the water. The disciples were frightened because they did not understand what they were seeing. Jesus spoke to them at once: "Cheer up! It is I! Don't be afraid."
The disciples heard his voice over the water. Jesus came to them, and the wind stopped. Those in the boat worshipped him and said, "You are truly the Son of God."
Questions to ask
