“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
Nicodemus was a Pharisee and a teacher. He came to visit Jesus at night because he wanted to ask him questions. Nicodemus had seen the signs Jesus was doing and believed God was with him.
Jesus told Nicodemus that people need a new birth to see God's kingdom. Nicodemus found this difficult to understand, so Jesus explained using the wind as an example: we hear it, but we cannot see where it comes from or where it goes.
Jesus told Nicodemus that God loved the world and sent his Son so that people who believe may have eternal life. Nicodemus came seeking answers, and Jesus spoke with him patiently.
Questions to ask
