The story behind this colouring sheet

Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds, and the glory of the Lord shone all around them. They were terrified!

But the angel said, "Don't be afraid! I bring you good news of great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord!"

Then the angel told them how they would know Him: "You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger."

Imagine being a shepherd on that dark hillside and hearing the most wonderful news in the world!

Talk about it

  1. Who came to visit the shepherds?
  2. What good news did the angel bring?
  3. The angel said the news was for all people. Why is the news about Jesus good news for everyone?
