The story behind this colouring sheet
As soon as the angel had finished speaking, the whole sky filled with angels — a huge heavenly choir! They were all praising God and singing:
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to those He is pleased with!"
Can you imagine how beautiful it sounded? It was the greatest concert the world has ever heard, and it was all about Jesus.
The angels were so excited about God's plan to save the world that they couldn't help singing. That's why we sing carols at Christmas too — to join in with the angels' song!
Talk about it
- What were the angels doing in the sky?
- What words did the angels sing?
- What is your favourite Christmas carol, and what does it say about Jesus?
