“They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.”
The story behind this colouring sheet
The angel told the women, "Go quickly and tell His disciples that Jesus is alive!"
So they ran from the tomb! They were a bit afraid, but they were filled with great joy. They hurried to share the amazing news.
On the way, Jesus Himself met them! "Greetings," He said. They fell at His feet and worshipped Him.
These women were the very first people to tell others that Jesus is alive. Now it's our turn to share the good news too!
Talk about it
- Are the women walking or running?
- What news were the women going to tell?
- Who could you tell the good news about Jesus?
