About the book of Hebrews
Hebrews is a letter written to Christians who had grown up in the Jewish faith. Nobody knows for certain who wrote it, but its message is clear: Jesus is greater than anyone or anything else.
Chapter 11 is like a hall of fame of people who trusted God, including Noah, Abraham, Sarah and Moses. It reminds us that they kept trusting God even when they could not see what would happen next.
Near the end is a short verse that children can hold on to: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." Everything else may change, but Jesus always stays the same.
